Is there anyone here whose MP is Chrystia Freeland. If so please contact her office. If there is anyone who has the Immigration Minister as an MP that could also be very helpful.

I have also requested that the MP contact the office for the Minister of Foreign Affairs about reinstating biometrics in Havana. Chrystia Freeland, the Minister is in Havana now.

It is good that they have enough sense to have you do both in one visit. That is also something I was having the MP's office push for.

If we can solve the Doctor problem, the next step is the Biometrics problem. They just close the VAC totally without any logical thought or common sense. Biometrics are just fingerprints and photo. Fingerprints are done with a laptop and a fingerprint pad (no ink and paper) It only takes...

They say the reason for all of this is the staff reduction due to the health and safety of Canadian staff. I think our biggest concern is to be able to do Medicals and Biometrics in Cuba due to cost and difficulty of travel for Cubans. Medical and Biometrics are done by outside contractors...

Nothing is fast. If DHL is the only option then that is what I would use. Also my wife talked to a Cuban who works at the Canadian Embassy and he thinks they may come up with an option to drop off the passport at the embassy and they would send it.

The Doctors work for Canada. I'm sure it's Canada who ordered the stop to the Medicals as they did with Biometrics. It sounds more like Trudeau is kissing Trumps ass. They could still do medicals and biometrics and process applications at another location ie: Mexico. With the explanation of...
