As mentioned earlier by Bryanna and others, the processing time is accurate to roughly 80% of the applications and is case specific. There's no set number of days for the applications to be processed in.

It is 19 overall days.

Your scenario is fine and shouldnt be a problem. As long as the ties to home country is fine. Make sure you include a good reason for you to return to India (Job Offer, Employment letter - employer approved leaves, if student - letter from college approving leave, return tickets) and a letter...

As far as I know, CIC never sends an official letter to any one on being eligible for citizenship. The individual in this case, you, would need to determine your eligibility and apply proactively instead of waiting for an invite letter.
