They do it for load management. They don’t need a reason or to mark it as moved. Happens to the majority of applications.

Same. They couldn’t open my crim file (tech glitch) so my app got transferred from NS to Vancouver where it sits dormant to this day

Hey all! Anyone have their applications transfer from one office to another during the process? The officer on the phone said it had been originally handled in Sydney, NS and was moved to Vancouver. Thoughts on why they’d shift it? Thanks in advance!

Update: I got in. They gave me the option for a call-back. Took it. My application got transferred from Sydney to Vancouver. :eek:

What number is everyone calling to speak with people that can actually comment on the situation? There was an issue with an uploaded document end of last month (they claim it was password protected, it definitely was not) and I’ve got zero updates in 3 weeks.

Interesting. When they took it the first time for my work permit, they said it was valid until the end date on it, and it was over a year old (due to a processing error, they redid the whole thing).

Hey guys, I used a medical for my PGWP (teaching requirement) which may have juuuuust gone out of date. It was accepted for the PGWP, do you think I will need another one since they have previously approved me? TIA!

that's the problem though - they won't even put me on hold. They just say the call volume is too high and to try again later. I've tried right when they open, before they open, middle of day... you name it, I've attempted it. I've never had this much trouble getting a hold of anyone before.

Anyone actually been able to get through in the last 2 weeks? I've tried calling all different times of the day, and every time they have the recording saying they're too busy to put me on hold.

Hey fam, I’m about to hit submit on my application to remove the infamous no teaching/healthcare conditions from my PGWP. While that’s pending, since my PGWP is valid for another 2.5yrs, anyone know if I can travel and be able to work upon my return if the approval hasn’t gone thru?

Fam, I need help. I went to the border to flagpole the removal of restrictions on my PGWP. I was told by CIC that they don't do that at the border anymore. Calling in confirms now, that's a thing of the past - if you're already in the country, you have to apply within. Problem is, I can't...

I was rejected - they no longer will do this at POE.

Most of the threads from late 2017 indicate that there are problems with it now - that’s why I’m asking if anyone has done it this year.
