How can you link in myCIC ? When was your file received in Ottawa?

I haven't received any communication from CIC yet about application received or anything. Canada post shows file was received in Ottawa on May 28. Can anyone tell me when I will get the official email that my file is in the system?

After reading the post, is it correct to conclude that CIC will not contact you for "file is received"? and it might be months or even a year from now that we receive an email from CIC for PCC or medical?

I think what freaks out people is the fact that - even though Canada Post confirms that the package was delivered, getting a confirmation from CIC that the package was received, will definitely help. I am in the same boat, as the file was delivered yesterday but how do I know CIC official...
