    Feeling a bit worried...

Our GCMS notes were useless in pinpointing their concerns, none were listed, but we pretty much know our red flags as should most people who get called for an interview.

    Feeling a bit worried...

Wow your interview was 3 hours? What could they possibly grill you about for 3 hours. The only thing my partner has going for him is he doesn't get phased too badly. He took his IELTS twice, so at least he had some good training not to crack under pressure! Bad thing is there is so much...

    Question! Mixed feelings..

Just remember that you got approved! It's going to happen and all these bad feelings will be a thing of the past!

    Question! Mixed feelings..

Yes, he got an interview date and this ominous letter saying that if he cannot attend the interview, they will assume that he is not interested in coming to Canada and his application will be refused. That is all they say .... he was officially summoned for March 19. I am going to go down...

    Question! Mixed feelings..

Good luck to you, we are in the same boat for next month. I imagine the worse case scenario now for everything ... as most things I expected would happen with our app didn't go as I thought it would. Now I go into this thinking of the worse case scenario that we will get rejected, then it...

March 2017, April 2017, - Spousal Sponsorship Applicants

Hi, I am not from March or April 2017, but from January 2017 (even worse). My partner was in queue for an interview for 3 months and just today, he got a letter from the Buenos Aires Visa office (Canadian embassy in Buenos Aires) to come for an interview on March 19. Our file was transferred...

January-April 2017 Outland lands - who is still waiting?

In sickness and in health .... you want to be there for everything! I so understand when you say you don't want to be apart as you spent enough time apart. I am sure most of us here are in the unique situation that we won't take the other person for granted. I feel kind of drained lately...

January-April 2017 Outland lands - who is still waiting?

Yesterday (Valentine's Day) my stepmom went into the hospital with an extremely high, irregular heart rate and apparently her atrium is very enlarged and she is at high risk of having a heart attack or stroke and she and my dad chose not to put her on life support/resuscitate if it's really bad...

January-April 2017 Outland lands - who is still waiting?

The VO supposedly shipped our file to another VO to scedule an interview. I'm sure it's going to take forever for them to open the file and to actually give us a date for the interview and then you still have to wait at least another month after that. I just want to spend time with my partner...

January-April 2017 Outland lands - who is still waiting?

My partner is coming here in the next few weeks, so I actually don't want to hear from them. They can take forever as far as I'm concerned, luckily that is exactly what they are doing!

    Mexico

We applied Jan 25, 2017. We are in queue for an interview. 1 week ago, our MP notified us that our file has been transferred to Buenos Aires so they can schedule an interview for my partner, who is Chilean. Our GCKey account has not been updated since May, 26, 2017, when we got AOR2. It...

Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

I am not even going to wager a guess as to whether we will get approved after the interview and if so how long the background check will take to get done as they have not passed anything even though they started things long ago. Everything I thought was going to happen a certain way did not...

Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

At this point, I am just looking for opinions as I have not seen anyone go through this and even asked on FB etc, but no one can offer insights so any new ideas is still of help my psyche as I am in this state where I think that this might even take another year to get all this done and...

Experience with Buenos Aires Visa Office?

I have an application for family sponsorship in process and am sponsoring my spouse from Chile. The reason I am asking this question on this forum is because I do not know of anyone on the Family Sponsorship Forum who is going through the Visa Office in Buenos Aires. Our file is being...

Transfer of File for Interview purposes

My concern is that it will take longer than forever, as they will have to review our evidence again, as there are no notes indicating what their concerns are about our relationship. :( What a nightmare this is turning out to be!

Transfer of File for Interview purposes

That would be so nice, but I don't want to put all my marbles on that one! This is all uncharted territory, as I have not seen this happen to anyone here before!

Transfer of File for Interview purposes

I hope so, because it should be a smaller Visa Office. I think we were expecting that the interview wouldn't take place in Santiago and I was thinking that he would have to go to BA. I have not seen any Chileans get interviews, so I have no experience with this.
