hi Nitin, does it show on ECAS if file is transferred to Mississauga or if they started processing your application on PA side? Just trying to figure out what does it say on ECAS.

How long would this generally take to reflect biometric and medical received on ECAS? My spouse submitted her biometric on 19 and medicals on 20, still no update on ECAS.

Thanks @swan0206. So if I understand correctly, ECAS is not updated if application is moved from Sydney to visa office (either Mississauga or local visa office). Secondly, “we started processing your application” means they started background check?

Weirdest thing was I paid RPRF in advance which was refunded after I received AOR and then they asked for RPRF.

Nothing yet! We got medical request after that.

It could be anything. I received the same update and then I got a letter to pay RPRF fees.

no need to panic at all. I received my SA approval 2 days after biometric, but the date was same as biometric request letter.

Does ECS shows if biometric and medical were received and passed?

You can check this tracker https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gm315tmNKWoywb7PwZBiE67fUmznYQrNhYVWXPXXJBw It’s hard to say. I have seen people getting Passport request within 40 days after SA and I have also seen people who are still waiting for more than 6 7 months.

By looking at the tracker what I could guess is it’s usually updated within 5 to 10 days.

There is no specific timeline when they ask for Medical. Sometimes it’s immediately after SA and sometimes it could take couple of months.

I guess your using PA’s details like UCI to check the status. To check sponsors status, you have to enter sponsors details and then you can check it. Hope this helps.
