Hi Sandy, First of all congratulations!! You don't need to worry about adding kid to the file right now as it's not born yet. I don't know what happens if you are immigrant of Canada and your kid births outside of India. You may submit a case specific inquiry to CIC and they can respond to this.

I had the same situation. it asks for degree certificate for my spouse (didn't say that i need to attach wes). I didn't claim the point so it doesn't matter. I just attached her certificate. you may also need to attach her language proficiency result in the same attachment
