I can't update about the ghost emails :( I have applied through consultant! I hope I am also getting some sort of updates. Just confirmed again, my status didn't change at all.

Mine still says "Documents you have provided have been uploaded". I uploaded the RPRF in the third week of May and my AOR is the first week of May.

What's causing a delay for you? and how do you know?

Well, mine is Sydney. As per my last conversation, I was told that the Sydney office has more than normal applications at this time of the year. How do you know that yours is Ottawa? Did you ask?

What I know is, the Sydney office has more applications than usual. Try to figure out where your application at!

Nah, there is no change in the wording since the third week of May! and the last time I called which was earlier this month, the representative told me the same thing I can see online. Keep trying, it connects but the wait time is usually 30 minutes.

Thank you so much. I gotta call CIC tomorrow because I just noticed my consultant misses out emails so I can't rely on them lol. Never gonna refer a consultant to anyone! I wish I had applied on my own and caught those ghost emails.

Can you confirm what your online status says? Does it still say processing background check and we are reviewing your eligibility? The only reason I am asking is to see if there is a delay in the online update as compared to the information you get over the phone.

Same case for me.. I tried two times (Aug 20th and Sep 7th) and heard the same thing. "we are still determining your eligibility + we are processing your background check". But I would say, give it a try and see if you hear something new. Please keep us posted!

Everything for me is in pending. No eligibility results, the background is in progress although my AOR is from May first week. :(
