as others have said, do not waste time trying to get an extension. fly to Canada, do your landing procedure, stay and enjoy with your hubby for 2-3 months until you get your PR card, then fly back to middle east if you must and complete your shopping or anything else you need to do.

you are correct. i wish we knew what exactly they are checking and what causes longer BGC so we can be prepared. my wifes BGC took 2 days basically while others BGC have taken more than 5 months in some cases.
