In the web that CIC created to catch fraudulent applications, a lot of innocent people gets entangled. Sad, just sad.

They start processing the application a few months later after sending out the study book. My mom took all of 9 months before ECAS showed that they "started processing" her application.

Back of Photo must have: 1) The name of the photographer or the studio, the studio address and the date the photos were taken 2) The name of the person. HTH.

Wow, bummer. Is that valid reason to bump you up to the new more expensive fees? Seems kinda unjust on their part.

I guess for Permanent Residents, the CBSA officers are more lenient with the entry stamps. I've had one entry in YVR where I did not use the automated system, and even then the CBSA officer who "manually" checked me out did not care to stamp my passport.

Agree with this. Safe to assume Feb. 6 2014 is the date this new form came into existence.

Wow, this new form really is more detailed. And with each new iteration of this application form, IMO, it gets more and more personally invasive. I guess to combat fraud, which is good motive, but always the many good people suffer from the shenanigans of a few bad eggs. Such a shame.
