Most recent CIC news release show that Canada is committed to bring 25k refugees by end of Feb. and another 25k by end of 2016. We are probably gonna have to wait all the way till the end of our 15 month timeline. This really sucks but hey on the positive side, we are living a lot better life...

Hi All, Just read in the PNP-PR Jan-Feb-March forum, Feb 6th BC PNP PR paper applicant got his PPR. There is obviously some inconsistencies with CIC. While December and January applicants are waiting for DM, they are giving Feb applicants PPR's. Sometimes you just get lucky I think.

My permit is also expiring Feb last week, 2016. I have already applied for a Open Work Permit which is taking 4 months. I recommend you apply for that asap. There is no guarantee with PR. It could take all the way to April.
