GCSM notes provide more details on your application. instead of getting application received you get a full 24 page document about your application. it will tell you if they got your medicals and will have notes from the Visa officers.

i wouldnt worry much there might be a buffer for file transfer maybe 2 months for amman to get all your documents. i got AOR in april and amman got my application documents transfered in June

i look at the number of cases processed by Amman VO. it lists everything, CIC gets the processing times from these spreadsheets.
