My medicals passed 1 week before I received my PPR.

application approved and closed today. Return tracker (Fedex) not yet activated.

It's also taking them longer to approve and close the application once they receive the passports. I don't know which is more frustrating - waiting for PPR or waiting for passports.

Not too far in the past, when one's bg check went into progress, PPR was assured in a couple of days. CIC has changed their ways of doing things, or the SMTP server in Ottawa has a glitch ;)

File moving is always a good sign. I think it is probably to redistribute the load. Did you apply from Canada or India?
