FP request are normally sent through regular mail or they also come through emails?

What does it mean In Process, does it mean the application is sent to local office or local office received application and started processing. Just wanna make clear when it is marked in process

check the May applicants tracker, you will find an idea how long it took for the other people to get their status changed to IP after AOR. I just checked tracker of May and it is between 35-48 days.
