This is not accurate at all. There is immigration law passed over a year ago which says if the marriage ends within 2 years of obtaining the PR, the spouse will lose the PR unless there was abuse in the marriage. The 2-year law does not apply to couples who have children together at the time...

I think CEM has different departments responsible for different stages of the application process. So perhaps the person who has emailed you to inform you of the upcoming package and the person who actually mailed it 3.5 weeks ago are in different departments.

This is sad news. I personally have not touch it for a long time but I did like the fact that anyone can edit it, but has risk of someone making a mistake. We had a similar experience in the March thread, that is why we limited to the people who can edit to only 3 individuals.

You do not have to wait 3 monhs for OHIP if you take the Sponsorship Approval letter which your husband recieved. You have become elligeable for OHIP 3 months after you became elligeable for the PR (I.e when your husband was approved to sponsor you).
