One should carry entire funds ideally in cash and dd/tcs. But one may carry PoF along with partial funds in cash or tc/DDs. As per experience of people landed the money was not verified. But people were asked about how much money they are carrying or about POF but this may not be the case...

Prarthu You should drop an email to your vo Id regarding the conversation you had with that lady. Also get your spouse's PP renewed under tatkal and send new PP yourself with the copy of PPR email for stamping without waiting for any communication from NDVO. Hope this will help you..... Good...

I am also in similar situation. You should write politely to your visa office to request the status of your app instead of calling cio in canada. Though the chances of getting reply are very less but you should try. It is advisable to apply for GCMS notes to know where and why your file is not...
