As far as I know the requirement is that you must include and prove your professional experience in the last 10 years, whether it is eligible or not, and during that 10 years you must prove at least one year of continuous work experience in the eligible occupation.

I've shown the same amount of assets as settlement funds, although my total assets are much bigger as my assets include real estate. Was that a mistake that may cost me my permanent residence?

Lucky you! I am a 2 October applicant and still waiting for being charged! Till now, no charge, no PER, no nothing in my case. What if my debit card is not charged for some reason and my application is rejected? Will that show in my ECAS status? I've tried to log in to ECAS several times using my old UCI number that I got on another occasion, and it says that I'm not in the system.

I meant the proof of funds or bank statement. I'm concerned about its validity. Should I send them an updated proof of funds with a letter of explanation?

Applicants under the category 5125 - Translators, terminologists and interpreter

I do not know about the Holidays, but as long as your application reaches them before 31 December and the cap for your occupation is not reached, then you're safe.

Hope you're right. Keeping my fingers crossed, cause this waiting is killing me! I am not sure whether I used the right (updated) forms. I used a Mastercard debit card for payment. Are you NOC 5125 too? Have you been charged already?

You've been waiting for a long time now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hope you will hear the good news soon. I think that in addition to the high and low priority occupations, they give priority to people with arranged employment, cause it seems that some applications are picked out...

Applicants under the category 5125 - Translators, terminologists and interpreter

I've read in another forum that recently all applications are checked for completeness within 75 (business?) days. So October applicants may get charged at the beginning of January 2015, which means that if their application is rejected, they won't be able to send it back. Sorry for being so...
