I got my PPR on 28th and sent the passports to CIC Ottawa on 1st March. It was received by CIC on 5th March. Status update change on CIC account on 11th March (counterfoil issued). Still no update about the return envelope on the Canada Post Site.

Call center agents does not have full access to the file. Even if they have access they don't bother to go through 100+ pages just to give you some information (Especially if you are still within the 6 months period).

You will get some info. But its not complete as GCMSs. Depending on the agent you get, they may only read the status that is shown to you on your profile or may provide some information regarding the local office etc. most of the time they may not mention about review required notes put on by...

The requirement for Bio-metrics is based on the country you reside. It's not based on your citizenship. I'm not sure about the requirement for US residents. But if you live in Canada and apply as an inland applicant, you don't need bio-metrics even if you are originally from Pakistan. I guess...

It's not true. Four months mean 18+ weeks. My timeline changed to 18 weeks from 4 months. Then it changed to 17 weeks. And now its 16 weeks. The time line has no connection with the actual processing of the application. It is just a countdown to the date that is exactly 6 months away from your AOR.
