Today my e-cas changed to In process. It says "We started processing your application on March 27, 2013."

Hi Sarayu, My Pakistani PCC has a 1 year validity from the issue date and I got it in October. So please check your PCC expiry date. Also you might get a request for new PCC if your security step does not get cleared before the expiry of your PCCs. That's what I know from my friends.

What is your home country and what was the expiry date on your Police Certificate. Also, for how long have you been in Canada?

It seems like those who got it are from visa-exempted countries. For all others, it might take full 13 months.

Thank you Kavy! I hope CIC has not completely shifted there attention to other streams. Minister Kenney seems to be paying more attention to CEC and FSW as now a days the news only floats around these two streams.

Done with Medicals today! MD said that they would contact me by the end of next week if they need to conduct further tests and that would only happen if anything is wrong in these test results. I am just not sure how long would it take to get PR from this point and that makes me wonder if I...

Yes, I am technology consultant and I have been with my employeer for last 2 years.

With the current trend, it seems like CEC is faster than PNP. Also, I am little worried to stay with current employer for any longer than 6 months. I am considering to apply for CEC as well so that I have backup in case I lose my current job. Any thoughts?

My Ecas status has been updated today 12 January 2013. It says that they received my application for permanent residence on November 7, 2012. Seems like I will be getting MR soon.

I have noticed that Medical Request is either coming on Wednesday/Thursday. Hopefully, I get mine coming Wednesday.

Hi Everyone, I am delighted to know that I received AOR via e-mail this morning (9th January 2013). The e-mail also states "This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 5 Dec 2012..." That means my bank draft was actually encashed earlier than what the bank told me...

Congrats to all who got their fee charged/encashed. Just wondering if any of us will get the AOR or MR before Holidays. All the best to everyone! :)
