when you apply you just add the minimum for yourself and dependants. when you get the ITA you'll be asked to provide proof then.

Now that I have an ITA, what do I do now? When do I have to send all my documents and how long will it take to process?

Apparently the latest cutoff was 423 and I haven't received any email notification that an ITA was supplied. Oh well, time to say goodbye to this I guess.

I did my ECA with the University of Toronto. They offer a 5-day "rush" service which is like an extra $500 CAD on top of the $190. I think there's another provider that also does a rush service but not sure.

I submitted my EE profile and I've already created and added a Job Bank profile but the status is stuck on "submitted". The Job Bank profile is marked as active btw. so I am not sure what's going on here. EDIT: I only submitted on April 29 so I am not sure if there's a lag or whatever...

I have invoices from jobs I've done and certificates of business name registration to prove my business exists in my home country. I can look into asking some clients for a reference letter. This is for NOC code 2175, I think that's Web Designer. I'm just being preemptive since my EE...

Since most of my non-Canadian experience is freelance, how can one prove that to the CIC if I get an ITA? EDIT: I do have invoices from my previous jobs, but not sure what else is acceptable.

OK, my initial attempts at making an EE profile failed. One suggestion was due to having no ECA, so I now have an ECA result and now I can submit my EE profile fully.

I received my ECA result a few days ago. So I can go in and give it a try when the bank isn't undergoing maintenance.

OK, my Canadian bank's web services are down for maintenance (because I use them as a sign-in partner) so when they get back up I'll punch in my deets and submit. I'd rather know for sure than not...give me a bit of piece of mind.

Oh OK, I was really confused by that. I started work in Jan 13, 2015 and ended in Feb 26, 2016. So would I still have a shot of applying? What's the date do they reference, the start date or end date?
