    July 28 Decision Made this morning :))))) but i called and couldn't reach any agent. what phone and options do you use in the menu? i heard my status from an answering machine and then i tried to talk to an agent but the queue was full

    my employer is going bankrupt. almost everybody was laid off. i don't know what do to because i'm on a closed work permit, waiting for the PR since i completed 15 months... and if i'm laid off i'll have to stay unemployed, since a closed work permit extension won't be a possibility

    I feel very frustrated and tired of waiting for my case too, but I imagine that some cases are easier to process depending on the applicant's country of origin, or the previously visited countries (as I imagine they will do a security check on every country), maybe even job market. It's tough...

    I think it makes sense to have just one thread for all the inland paper-based PPR applicants. We don't need to divide by months. Eventually (hopefully) we'll stop using this thread when we get the PPR but the future applicants will see our records and be able to have a sense of what to expect...
