Finished test (19/20) & interview was quick as had only 1 trip & was verified. Agent said everything good & will receive Oath 2-4 months. Scarborough office.
You should hear from them in few days. I noticed when the file is transferred in a week after in process, the file is not actually transferred fully. It takes a while for all background/criminal checks to complete before local office can schedule for next step.
Just my 2 cents.
Plus if you travel within 3 months of oath ceremony, you can travel on Indian passport on a 3 month grace period.
"There is a grace period of three months after acquisition of foreign nationality (to be counted from the date of registration / Naturalisation Certificate and not from the date of...
Are there any applicants without "Transfer to local office" message who got test letter?
My application is in process since Jan 12th & wonder what exactly is going on since for most it takes from 1 to 25 days roughly to show "transfer to local office" from "In Process"
Any guesses?
Nice to see movement on new routine files. Lets hope CIC brings these to same level as mail AOR ones as soon as possible. Anyways, remember that the whole process used to take more than 12 months not too long ago.
your case is moving with astounding speed. congrats. next is test invitation in 2-3 weeks depending on local office. you should be very happy with this fast progres
That's what, there is a system snag somewhere we don't know. Either at Sydney or Local office. Things are not moving for most.
As I said for most it is taking 5+ months to go into process,I didn't say everyone. Even after it transfer to local office, its a waiting game again for most!!!
I noticed Sept. 2014 & Oct 2014 mail AOR applicants started receiving test letters but there are email AOR applicants from June, July & Aug. yet to receive it. What kind of system are they running. I know that each case is different but how come email AOR is taking 5 or more months just to...
Do all email AOR get the 4th line: transfer to office or for some it stays at the 3rd line in a routine normal case. My guess is for regular mail AOR applicants, there is no 4th line and for email AOR ones there is a 4th line. How true is this?
You will have grace period of 90 days after acquiring Canadian citizenship to surrender Indian passport. I read this on Indian consulate website. Also ....look below:
"There is a grace period of three months after acquisition of foreign nationality (to be counted from the date of registration /...
Its a secret :-X process no one knows clearly except the higher bosses of CIC. If you get an email AOR,you are waiting longer than regular mail AOR applicants. So, there are 2 processes, one is longer and the other is shorter.
Thank you latitudeofgratitude, I hope it comes true. Its been a long wait especially with Sept. & Oct. applicants getting test dates. The email AOR is a curse.
Hopefully this gets done latest by May 2015.
My timeline is similar. I thought file will transfer in few days like many others but seems to be stuck there. There is no clear cut answer, it might be days or months. You might get a test letter even when ECAS shows in process. May 2015 trip should be fine as the whole process should be...
Do any Email-AOR have any test letters yet, especially June & July 2014??? If not then this new process is really disgusting which allows CIC officers to sit on files for months without doing anything!!!!
