    If you are FSW, then there is no problem to land any where in Canada except on Quebec. The destination in my COPR was Toronto and I've landed on Ottawa without any issue.

    Don't judge when you don't know. My son has an american passport and we've got our PR last month. When I submitted the passports, the VO asked for all passports including my american son's passport & the immigration visa has been stamped on his America passport!!!

    This is not a visit visa, it's an immigration visa where it's required to be stamped on the original passport even for the american one! So the original is required for sure.

    How often are interviews and job references followed up?

    I'm from 3rd country & I've got my PR visa recently (skilled worker) and never been checked by CIC! I know more than 20 people in person got the PR visa in the past few years and non of them has been checked! They will check ONLY if they feel something wrong or fabricated.
