Very good advice indeed. I have some old Saudi stamps & visas on my passport, I'll make sure to translate them before I submit my application. Also I have so many stamps from UAE, where dates are in English, but there are some arabic text on the stamp itself. Do they need translation as well?

CIC is part of the federal government & they can't contradict with each other! In all cases I've just called CIC call centre & they confirmed that the new rule of 3/5 will be activated on fall 2017. PLEASE, don't tell me that CIC agent doesn't know anything & that you know better than him...

The 3/5 rule will be implemented on Fall 2017 (Late-Sep to Late Dec), it's already been announced

I reached to that conclusion after long time of watching & following C-6 stages since Feb-2016. Now I don't really care if it got adopted or not. I will qualify on October to apply for the citizenship under current C-24

Everything in this country is progressing in a very slow pace, and C-6 is not an exception. Look at HoC, they put C-6 in the fridge for 5 weeks and the senates will not act differently.

I believe it's safe to assume that C-6 will never see the light before October, in case HoC returns it to the senate, no room will be left before summer break. The only possible way for C-6 to become a law in June, is HoC accepting all senates amendments.

Wishful thinking :) From the sequence of actions, C-6 will become a law on June, ONLY if the HoC accepts the amendments from senates.

Thanks guys for the reply. I think I will create a new excel sheet and replace the page in the original application. Not only i have three kids, but my kids attended 4 schools during my stay in Canada (the application contains space for two kids and 3 rows only for each kid).

In the citizenship adult application there's a section for children information (Section-I). This section contains fields for two children only. Well, I have three children, how would I add the the 3rd child in the application?

If you are not living in Canada while applying for citizenship, you will never grant the citizenship under any rule. This applies to current C-24, pre-C-24 and C-6 laws. You must be living in Canada while processing your application in all cases.

This is weird! I was living in UAE and moved to Canada 3 years ago, the cancelation document is handed over to you when you cancel your residence. It has to be with you at the airport, when you exit the country. Did you lose this document or you don't know about it?
