We are Feb 2015 NDVO applicant and Our medical will expire in January. We are planning a trip around the same time to Thailand. My question is if we receive the re-medical request during that time, would we be able to do it in Thailand ? And how long does NDVO give you to complete the re-medical ?

Is it recommended for applicant to notify NDVO about change of address(mailing/resident) ? If yes, can It be done through CSI ?

I don't agree with you. A few of the relationships will break no matter what. This has nothing to do with genuineness of the application.

Completely agree with you. In process is no longer something to be excited about.

I think good time would be once per month after you have completed 6 months. ;D

Shouldn't the Eligibility be passed if a person is in process ?

I would suggest wait for 3 more days. It takes 30 days to get GCMS notes.

NDVO seems to work in batches. So initially they pick most straight forward files from 2-3 months and put them in process. Then they send them for criminality check etc. Files with less proof/suspicion are looked at again and put into interview queue etc. Considering the volume NDVO receive...

IP to DM normally takes 1-2 months(depending on number of countries visited etc.) so you should be getting DM within next 2-3 weeks. Did you apply for notes ?

I am not sure. I will apply for notes at the end of the month to confirm. It could as well be dummy although I hope it is not. :D

Since they start working on eligibility/medical after AOR2, In process seems more accurate.

Did you move to in-process before DM or directly to DM ?
