We got the re-medical request from LA too beginning of Dec. 2012 & it got received by Ottawa last week. We paid extra and sent it by Fedex from Seattle doctor's office. Had sent a case specific to inform LA of Ottawa's receipt last week. Now we are just waiting, and hopefully not for long.

I think that's good news. LA might skip the interview for you. Do you know when your file got transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa? Didn't you submit the FBI with your original application?

That might be a good idea. But my MP is not much of a help. They only found out what we know: "Buffalo files were electronically transferred on July 7, 2012 & they are waiting to be reviewed. Contact them again if we don't hear anything in 3 months."!!! I emailed & faxed Minister of Immigration...
