    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Congratulations! I know it's not easy, but I believe one would treasure the outcome more after the interview. Would you care to share the experience? Did they do tricky questions on you?

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Not just the ones living in US but also lots of them living in Canada are using Buffalo as it's faster than in-land. But looking at the cases that went through, I still think the American citizens are getting done a lot faster than the non-Americans from Buffalo.

Thank you! We're working on it. Hoping at least the interview will be in Seattle which is closer for us instead of Buffalo if we do get the letter. Wondering anyone here had his/her interview in Seattle before? We were there last year for his visitor's visa after our marriage but it was not...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

There was no transfer notice to us. I believe it's with Buffalo. The house I own with my ex is paid for. He's been spending most of his time in Thailand after the breakup of our common law relationship. We agreed that I get to stay in it as long as I pay for all the expenses of the house. He's...

Thank you so much AmericanQuebec. I think that's a good idea. We've chosen Seattle as interview location. Guess we should still send the papers to Buffalo? I was talking with my ex and he's happy to do that for us. We already had the Declaration of Severance of Common Law Relationship attached...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Thank you NYQUE. Did you submit any additional documents after you received the interview letter? I was also noticing some applicants got their interview dates a couple of weeks after they received the interview letter lately. Guess it depends on at what stage they request the interview. Yours...

Non-American Passport Holders Applying Spousal Through Buffalo

I was wondering how many non-American passport holders applying Spousal through Buffalo? Through what I've been reading, American passport holders seem to get processed faster.

Did anyone go to interview at NYC office?

Looks like your file got transferred to NYC unless you've chosen that as your interview location on your application. Buffalo usually notifies the applicant well in advance(normally months ahead) for interview and then send you the scheduled interview date about 1 month before for you to confirm...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Thank you ddobro2! That clears my mind a bit as I was just wondering there might be an interview. I was reading other people(with Buffalo) have been getting only 3 weeks notice for interview lately. One would need more time just to book an inexpensive flight and hotel these days.

Ecas "started processing" and "in process". What's the difference?

Wow, that's been a long time. I assume yours is not the family class application. But I think that's your final stage now and your day to party is very soon.

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Hello everyone! I am an early June applicant. My Buffalo spousal application has been showing "started processing" since early August with no "in process" showing. Just wondering if "in process" will have to show before PPR as some applicants of same timelines are getting PPR? I had the...

Did anyone go to interview at NYC office?

I would bring as much additional supporting documents as I could especially the ones after you submitted your application. In your Ecas status, doesn't yours at least show "started processing on(date)" at all after Buffalo received your application? When did your application reached Buffalo or...
