Im sure you will hear from Ankara first thing when they open up. they are usually good with emails. if they dont repond back to you just have your MP follow up with them. Dont worry documents are always "lost/misplaced"....they will understand that and issue a new date/letter

from what ive read he hasn't been convicted yet...so i presume your innocent until proven guilty....but i may be wrong....but there is nothing to tell CIC when no criminal record exists yet...and although a DUI is bad but its not like he killed someone or went to prision...and I'm sure CIC will...

isnt it a rule that for any travel (regardless of canada or not) your passport must be valid for 6 month before the departure of your flight? 2/3 weeks ago at the counter in the airport the agent checked to make sure its valid for atleast 6 months...check in to that maybe?!

I emailed ankara this morning regarding my case. They replied back with on an hour basically saying yhat with in the processing time i should persume everything is proceeding normally...I guess it is what it is...cant do much except wait...
