does BCG start after you submit PCC? Asking on behalf of a friend, she received additional document request for PCC, and was wondering when BCG would start.

You don’t need to get CNIC attested either ... I submitted my husbands as is (Urdu address and all) and there was no issue in processing. If you think about it, your NADRA issued marriage certificate will have the address listed anyways.

You don’t need to get those docs attested for spousal sponsorship! As long as they’re all in English, you’re fine

When you check in with the immigration official upon arrival at the airport, they confirm the address to send the PR card. Just sit tight, my cousin got his PR card after 3.5 months!

So to confirm, DM happens after background check is complete? Or can we get DM before BCG starts?

If your wife applied for PR card at the airport, she should get it in the mail. Just be patient because it may take a few months. It won’t impact your file in any way, you can remove representation at any time. And won’t they have sent your paperwork to the CPC? I don’t think you can request...

No it just means that the file has been assigned to officer in London. They send a separate notification when your background check starts.

June applicant, my file was transferred in November 2018. The wait is torturous tbh, and what makes it worse is that we might have to wait for months and months...

gckey says that when they are reviewing eligibility requirements. You will know if you need interview or not once they clear your eligibility

It wouldn’t hurt to mention it upfront. Probably put it in the box where they ask if you want to add anything else about your relationship. You can also attach letters from family and friends attesting to your relationship being genuine to make it bonafide

So are they processing 2017 files, and putting 2018 on hold??

Did you not send those things in your original package? Or did they ask for updated info?
