Hello I am in the same situation, I have a valid US visa in my old passport (not the one I gave up) and was wondering if I could travel with that one and my RTD. How did it turn out for you?

He had an old passport with the visa in it, and his new passport was the one that was seized. So before being a refugee he travelled with his old passport that had the visa attached and the new.

He has the USA visitor visa on his old passport, so we would only need his RTD?

Hello, my partner just got his refugee claim approval. We had a trip planned to USA and I was wondering if he could ask for his travel document and enter with his USA Visa (he has it in his old passport), has somebody done this?

Hello, my case is similar, but I just applied with CEC and we are waiting for response (very close now). My partner just had his hearing and his refugee claim was approved, what did you do next? Do I have to notify IRCC about his change in status?

Me! Is it possible to do that? I requested a refund for the TR to PR because I hadn´t an AOR but 4 days ago was requested to link the application and now, it's far more advanced than my CEC

Me! I didn´t get an AOR but I did get yesterday a request to link my profile. I had asked for a refund because I never received an AOR and now I don't know what to do.

Yeah I figured, now my question is, I had issued a refund, they gave the money back but are still processing my application, and it's moving faster than my CEC. Doesn't make sense.

I did, I applied but then asked for a refund because I thought CEC was going to be faster. So I got my refund and thought the application was withdrawn but apparently not and now they are checking my background and have asked me to link the application to my profile.

And did you reapply though another stream? I'm very hesitant of withdrawing because this new one looks more advanced than my CEC

Hello, maybe this is a long shot but I asked for my refund on august 2021, got my refund and assumed that the application had been withdrawed. I then applied to my CEC through Express Entry and been waiting for a response, but today I got an email saying to link my application and oh surprise...

I don't know my VO but my AOR is Sept 22. It's weird because my UCI doesn't match the one in the email.

I just got an email saying "To continue processing your application, you must link your application to an online account." But I already have a profile on CIC website. Is this spam? email is from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca
