same here no updates. Do people get ghost updates on weekends? I guess it's Monday or Tuesday for us then since I saw January 10th submission receiving a ghost update today.

Did you link your account on CIC website (where you did your PR stuff)? Mine currently says "Submitted", but I'm hoping to see some movement soon since my photos were received on January 11th..

Isn't there a limit for how many times they can request someone's photos before just issuing the card?

I retook mine at Downtown camera. We'll see if they get accepted this time, but they seemed to be knowledgeable at what the photos should look like. They checked the lighting, made sure there was no glare and measured face dims with the ruler.

I saw someone on this forum whose photos were received on January 3rd. Hopefully will hear from that person in the upcoming days.

You can call them periodically, but in my case they told me that they were processing photos as of some date and couldn't give any information regarding my application or photos. I think this forum is a good way to get an estimate.

I think yours should be reviewed very soon. If they are processing photos as of 12/24 and there were 3 holidays that week, I'd say yours should be in a week or so. Also, it all depends on the volume of photos that they receive. My guess is that the volume between December & January shouldn't be...

Mine were also received on the 11th. The status says submitted. I assume another 3-4 weeks for us.

You'll probably get yours soon. I just spoke with CIC and they said that they are processing photo requests as of December 10th.
