Congrats!! Finally someone got something!!!

i tried that.. the maximum they will say is what's written on their website "bla bla bla is under process at bla bla bla"... that's the MAXIMUM of the MAXIMUM they will say. i even tried asking them, what's the current trend.. after how long are you recieving the passport, i got the same...

Whatever the reason is.. this is ridiculous!!! I mean it's fine to take time with that due to work load or whatever but at least passports shouldn't be retained during such a lengthy process... i mean u can't block ppl's movement... emergencies happen and sometimes people have to book a flight...

Exactly.. VFS can't do a thing!

I don't think u can even get into the embassy if you don't have an appointment scheduled by them.. if u r just coming to follow up they won't even let u in.

we all here have the same question! Most of us here submitted around the same time and there is no reply yet and no clue when a reply is to be expected :(

Yes by the way.. in the beginning she said yes you can retrieve it and there is a form to fill but then i re-asked so this is also ok for pr?? She said no that only applies to other types of visa!!!

I just called VFS and asked again.. if it's a PR visa there is no way to retrieve the passport watsoever. This is only possible for other temporary visa types.. i think the guy who said that mixed things up... very frustrating!! Clearly, waiting is the only thing we can all do!!

Based on my experience i asked them if i can retrieve my passport, they said no you have to wait till the end of the process. Plz let me know if that's going to work for u.

Nothing is going to work. Apparently no one checks this type of emails and all we can do is just wait...

Probably yes. Stamping a visa won't take 3 weeks!

i think at this point it's better to wait at least until next week. I think if nothing happens by the end of next week then we should do something.

nothing here as well :S calling VFS won't help, all their job is to transfer whatever they get from one side to another. I really don't know who should be contacted!!
