I just finally was able to speak to an agent who said they are working on June 5 application..i cannot understand why they do not work on application based on a chronological order (by receive date) vs randomly.

I was trying to reach out to IRCC and it now says “the person you are dialing is not taking any calls”.. did it happen for anyone? I don’t know how bad a service can be, between the usual 30 min wait time, and the fact that it’s really to get connected to an agent. Sorry to vent , it’s just...

Have you applied to citizenship? If so it could just be IRCC wanting to get feedback. I got surveys after I applied to Permanent residency.. whether you respond or not has no impact on the processing of your application

April applicants are still getting their AOR. It seems to take around 3 months to get the AOR, so you are fine

You can call them using this number IRCC Call Centre (1-888-242-2100)

No you do not need to notify them. You would need to notify if you are permanently relocating somewhere as it would involve address change etc

I just called IRCC and the agent said it was too early for my AOR to be received ( app received May 16) he said they are working on April and early May applications

So we don’t need to redo a calc? On my side I sent app in May, just before going on a trip outside canada So if I resend the application ,do I need to redo the presence calc? Do you need to sign again the application (meaning printing a new copy and edit the date?)

Thanks.. I haven’t checked a box in the application, so i am not sure yet if I will get the AOR, I may have to resend a new application.

I understand your concern, just don’t stress too much , I am sure your application was delivered! I believe none of the May applicants have received their AOR yet (except the urgent processing cases)
