once you call CIC, you can ask where your file is, that's where I come to know its in Sydney and still open :o :o (don't know how that is even when we received DM?). May be because they can't tell any info on file. ;) ;)

I got DM on 1st Feb; still waiting. New thing, looks like most of March applicants files (some from Feb too) are still in CIO_Sydney, they processed our application(got this info while talking to CIC call center). Don't know how long before we receive Passport request? I doubt CIO will send...

hey, I come to know that our files (i'm assuming most of March applicants and some Feb )are still at CIO-Sydney even after DM. so looks like they processed our application. I'm not sure whether they can send Passport request or they will have to transfer the files to Ottawa for passport/VISA...

I think some Feb and March applicants are in same situation. I got DM on Feb 1st, still waiting for PPR. I agree with Diaboluce, there is no pattern or fixed timeframe for wait times. it depends on your VISA officer and luck I guess. Good luck everybody. Keep posted.

you did your part, informing them. I'd suggest order GCMS notes or contact MP. MP is fatser way to know the status of appln (just a day or 2). whats your status in ECAS? Good luck.

yes Agam1111, I received IP on 11 Sep; nothing since.

my case is similar; just verified email its from CIO-Sydney. I don't know whether its same email address(Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca) for everyone or its different. appreciate if other people post the email address here for comparison. Thanks.
