Just received the status update. They canceled my SP extension. Anyone knows if they are going to refund the application fees?

According to the immigration adviser at U of T, it is possible, as long as you have a valid status in Canada. Technically, I applied for PGWP at the airport as a visitor, since I lost my implied status the day I left Canada.

My SP expired on Nov 30, I applied for SP extension on Oct 30, and graduated in December. Didn't expect the delay to be this crazy, eventually I had to apply PGWP at the Pearson airport and I got it. Thus, I don't know what they are going to do with my SP extension.

Yeah my wife's application went straight from eligibility review to approved without any email notification. Also, the review and approval happened on the same day. From my previous SP extension experience, it should show up in your mailbox in a week or so. Good luck!
