But as I mentioned in my edit, they would need the passport number to check with CBSA about the entry & exit from Canada. If they dont have a passport number, this verification would be hard to complete.

Sorry to say but the fact you put passport rather than your passport number would cause your application to be returned ..... The passport number is needed by CBSA to check your travel history. If they dont have it, they cannot verify your eligibility.

I am filling the form out and during my PR period , I have upto 18 visits to the US. But there arent more than 10 rows. Would it be a good idea to fill all 18 visits on a separate page and attach it to the form ?

Agreed ! Plus I just printed my form using Nitro PDF and its missing some columns since I have multiple statements in them and it only shows and prints 1 line in Nitro PDF. So Im going to wait too. Better not use a Work around here !
