Citizenship test: Collective action required, or expect endless delays, years. Example of the effective lobbyng of people awaiting spousal sponsorship

Totally agree esp to your last sentence. Trying to create paranoia by the mere title of this thread (“years”) is an irritating overture. Do you (thread starter) as others are doing but don’t push ya paranoia on others with baseless assumptions. You can’t force everyone to run amok with threads...

Q13 - Does "immigration status" in another country include student / work visas?

The instruction says permanent residence/citizenship. Visitor visa isn’t on the list so I don’t think you need that. Also, that would definitely be too much for the frequent travellers to list on their app. Pls follow the instruction guide closely ...goodluck

Citizenship test: Collective action required, or expect endless delays, years. Example of the effective lobbyng of people awaiting spousal sponsorship

I asked a question which you responded to by asking another. There was a comment about cheating and people focusing on it. And I asked: why are exams taken in controlled environments? Whether proctored or in-person, exams are controlled to prevent cheating while testing your knowledge. The open...

Citizenship test: Collective action required, or expect endless delays, years. Example of the effective lobbyng of people awaiting spousal sponsorship

Which would be more important to tackle head on...

Citizenship test: Collective action required, or expect endless delays, years. Example of the effective lobbyng of people awaiting spousal sponsorship

It’s a choice we all made to emigrate here. It’s not as if they aren’t working on making the process better. If anyone has an urgent need for having citizenship ASAP, there’s a process online for it. A colleague followed through, had her oath and now is on her new job that required it. And no...

No update from IRCC on citizenship oath ceremony. Next steps?

Take heart for apps are not the same. Others can be straightforward while others may be snagged in checks-delays. All in all, it will come and you will jubilate eventually.

    Citizenship Test

You sound as if you are having a bad time in Canada and don’t think Canada is prestigious ...so why are you applying for citizenship? Go and wait till it’s being handed out by mere looking at people before applying. For now, stop whining so others can wait patiently!

    Citizenship Test

Well just as you write exams before you receive academic certs, you also need to demonstrate your understanding of Canada by passing a test. This is just but a small price to pay for getting such a prestigious citizenship otherwise, it would no longer be prestigious. See!
