Once we land Canada and give them the address where we would like them to send us our PR card, Can we leave the country immediately or are we suppose to stay in Canada for a particular period of time.?

Thank you for your reply. Will the letter of explanation work with the receipt number showing I have applied for the PC from the FBI and have still not received it?

I'm currently residing in US and applying for PR for Canada. Is is necessary to submit a PCC only from FBI? Since it takes a long time to get a PCC from the FBI can we submit a PCC from the local Police department, And write a letter of explanation ? Will that work?
