I got a ghost update on 30 Dec. (my BGC started on 26 Nov. and Medical Passed on 11 Dec.). Nothing else since. How many more ghost updates usually before AIP/SA/DM?

To me, it sounds like an AIP since it is addressing the Principal Applicant

Your ECAS should indicate when they started your background check. It will be stated as follows: “[No.] We started processing your application on [date]”

Thanks for the clarification. I suppose that eligibility approval letter is the AIP which sent by mail? ps. Have you considered being insured under a Provincial Replacement Coverage Plan?
