Heard that vegreville isn't one of the fastest processing office. So you shouldn't be surprised if you didn't received an update.

That's sad. You can talk to them or raise a CSE. Considering you applied in Dec, it's now they realised. All the best with new application.

Did you got your medical passed. Bit surprising that they asked for additional documents before assessing the medical. But anyhow, any movement is good movement.

If you haven't been issued any document from CIC in the past and you don't have the UCI, you can mention Not applicable or Not available and one liner that you are applying for first time. It should suffice. Also, not sure if the AOR email attachment does contain UCI number, have a look.
