And than we ask why the rules get stricter with time. ;D jus kidding. I would say if you should wait till you receive the one from prev request. Personal opinion though

Anyone saw movement in their application? I ordered my case notes today. Though it mentions about 30 days wait period, do anyone know the average time it takes to receive them.

Usually within 2 weeks if sent from within Canada. But no thumb rule.

I think cic is not working at all on Jan applications. I didn't saw any stream moving.

I think starting a petition against cic would not be fair for this reason. Cic has set processing time of 6 months and just coz they are trying to be efficient by working on certain stream faster it shouldn't be taken otherwise. I have seen people waiting for over an year in old programs before...
