    520 would be a highly unlikely score as it is not easy to have phd, multiple years of qualifying full-time job experience AND be younger than 30 years old. And full English AND French proficiency. Not impossible but highly unlikely.

    That 400k+ includes everyone including refugees and family type immigration. FSW backlog is 40k+. CEC should not have that much of a backlog since inland applications had processing times of 12-13 months.

    I don't trust calls to cic. Their agents don't know about Pof. It's a call centre. When you call a bank the agents there are not financial analysts either.

    There were caps before Express Entry... For example CEC 2014 applicants after the cap has been reached had their applications returned. Those are not being processed under 2015 caps.

    cic says only if you have arranged employment you don't have to show Proof of funds in their website. Arranged employment requires LMIA.

    Arranged employment now requires LMIA though. Does this mean you need proof of funds if you don't have lmia (eg: CEC applicants)?
