Generally the PR visa is issued with a validity until the expiry of the Medicals. Like Teaya_ram got the visa which was valid only for a month and a half as the Medicals was expiring by then. If you do the Medicals after ADVO requests you to do it, then they wld issue the visa which wld be valid...

I too think that the ADVO sends an AOR only if they need additional documents submitted. Else PPR is the next step when they are ready to issue the visa.
