Alternatively you can attach proof of applying for Police certificate, while sending the application. Getting the police certificates may take months if you have stayed many countries for more than 6 months.

It's very sad to hear that, I believe the only option is to update CIC on your status change and include your spouse in the application, then CIC will request for Medical for you and your spouse.

Current trends shows that you will get MR request in 2-3 months

I think it should not affect at all, even you go canada 6 months later also, PR process is independent.

You need to write a email/letter explaining blah blah, better tell them that your mail was dropped in spam folder, or account was hacked kind theory, I believe they will grant you extension.

I also expect AOR in Jan last week only, as there will be Christmas holidays as well. So we have to wait at least 60 days . Hope process will move fast

I think they are quickly sending support letter, just a simple question, lets say you have got support letter and work permit, is it necessary to go do job hunting there ? as its a little bit risk, PR case is a bit different.

Well this is getting confused, as some says parent name, while you said both parents. In my case I just have my father's name in my 10th Certificate and the same is applicable for my spouse. Well I am thinking to go ahead get ready my affidavits, in case CIO returns my file I will re-submit it...
