    Don't need to cancel it, just let it be. As of now you're good. just send in your passport and get the visa and land. The day i landed my Visa had already expired by 10 days lol they didn't even care. The date of your PPR is all they care. so you don't need to do anything.

    Yes you are able to do so but if you haven't got your PHD yet, you won't get points for that. About ineligibility of your profile, it all depends on the information you have put there. It's just age, work xp, Studies and English/french exams, i don't see how a PHD student in Canada would be...

    have it with you when you land. In my case when i landed they asked for my old passport copy (which i had in 2004 when i first entered Canada!) and all original copies of my study permits. Just have every conceivable documents with you when you land.

    Choose All provinces and territories. If you want the Ontario PNP change it, their PDF instructions says this explicitly.

    actually no, i applied for it but i got sick and went to the hospital. Insurance companies all rejected me due to existing illness lol when i got well i said F it, i don't need it anymore. Ill wait a few weeks to ge my OHIP
