That's not new, I have seen some people in the forum receive the same request. If your spouse filed refuge claim then they most likely will ask. Just submit the information and you will be fine.

Hi Macus, I think writing them first may delay your submission and affect your meeting the set dealine. Nut that's just my opinion though. I wish you the best whatever you do.

That's good, send all the required document. They do misplace documents so resend the requested bio page of your passport. They should make a decision soon give them 4 weeks or less.

You're right, the wait to landing for me is worse aspecially since there's nothing else to do and I'm the one in Canada.

As for me, we are now waiting for hubby's passport back. May this week bring us good news and joy in Jesus name.

I believe they are in the final stage with your file too. Ours showed "started precessing" afterwards and our interview date was the day they wrote as the start day. By the way, his passport was requested same day. Good luck to you.

Thanks Edgehead78. By the way, your recent update may mean they have started processing your Visa. Mine was updated to "in process" and it stated August 12 as the date they started processing ...which was the date they requested for my hubby's passport. You may be hearing the good news soon.
