I was able to link my application after 2 days of receiving my AOR but then I saw others able to link their app even before receiving their AOR.

Chances are your application might be returned first before they open your missing payment. Just my two cents. Better to call them to make sure.

you should pay both OWP holder and work permit, $100 + $155, otherwise, it will be returned.

Whose name, PA or sponsor?

Did they return both your applications, OWP and PR? I also sent the long form :(
