    I called them today. And guess what, they said I was out of status! Unbelievable! They told me to upload the page of my passport with the stamp, which, I already submitted to them along with the application. And they'll get back to me after a month. D*mn it!

    This is also what I'm thinking. Maybe they assumed that I'm out of status when they opened my papers, because I have an ongoing visitor extension application since my status will expire a month later. I tried calling them today but no luck. I can't get through. I will try again tomorrow.

    No, It wasn't returned. I was able to link it a week after AOR. It's just a bit frustrating because March applicants are starting to get their OWP approved.

    Question for those who have their OWP already approved, do you guys have valid status in Canada? I was just thinking if that's an issue in approving OWP because my status ended last Mar 5. But, I applied for a visitor extension before it expired. So, technically I'm on an implied status.
