The problem is that even after waiting for so long there is no gaurantee that the outcome would be positive and we would be issued the visa. It is possible that after waiting so long, the outcome might be negative and the case is rejected on any small ground the the visa officer

Total number of pending cases for MI-1 for NDVO as on 8th Jan 2013 is 4523 Around 50% May and June ka estimate lia hai...so between 2000 - 2500 cases. Please note that these are cases. Number of persons would go up because there are an avg 2.8 persons per application.

I have been following LVO threads also. hey have transferred some cases to Paris, but it doesnt seem that 50% of the cases have been transferred to Paris. One thing is for sure that by 2014 end the inventory would be clear. So, its one and a half years more

Out of the total waiting list of 15560, it is expectd that 8000 will get visas in 2013 and another 5000 will get MR. For the 5000 who will get MR will get visas stamped in first quarter of 2014. Rest would get MRs and visas in 2014 Entire backlog would be clear by 2014 end
