    September 2014 Citizenship Application

It's hard for me to be sure because I live in Windsor ON which means that even when I fly somewhere it's out of Detroit, so I leave Canada always by land and always to the US. I can tell you that the exits were recorded regardless of using my passport or Nexus card. If I recall correctly, the...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

That's what I said: CBSA EXIT records are available for exits since July 1st 2013 -- you have to explicitly request any available exit records (obviously if you only request entry records, that's what you'll get). I requested "any available" entry and exit records -- all entries were listed for...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

It's possible your test invite is in the mail ... my friend got a his test invite less than 3 weeks before the test date, so for Feb 25th you could still get it this week :)

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

In regards to CBSA records, here's my opinion: Since I first set foot in Canada I kept a calendar of dates that I went in and out of the country -- I frequently traveled to the US so I didn't want to risk getting my dates wrong. Despite of that, I ordered my CBSA records because I wanted to...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

Thanks guys.. I do feel relieved. For all I have read in the forums it takes between 3 to 5 months for email AOR applicants to receive test dates... it seems the only people who got faster test dates received AOR by regular mail.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

Thanks for all the replies and suggestion guys.. to my surprise I opened my email today (Sunday) and found my AOR email (dated of this morning)! I was in shock for a moment and I couldn't even bring myself to be happy about it, but I am definitely glad I don't have to send another application...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I know ATIP won't help till my application is in the system -- which I doubt it is since the agents can never find it. I did send a case specific enquiry on Jan 5th and so far no answer.. I won't be surprised not to get any response or to get that generic response message (like the one I got...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

Really, and when they suggest to send another application it just makes it seem like it was such and quick/easy/simple thing to fill everything up, gather all the documents and mail it in... In my case, I spent a few weeks preparing everything and even paid a paralegal to review my application...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

No news for me.. called CIC last week and the agent said my application is probably lost -- so typical... I'll be preparing another application to send in case I hear nothing by the end of February.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

That's what I thought too.. I did that Jan 5th, so far no answer but I assume it will take a few more weeks till they say anything.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I thought ATIP requests couldn't be done without a case #? I have done the email and online case inquiry -- the email was answered with a generic response saying Citizenship is a long process that takes 24+ months bla bla bla with no apparent actual "effort" into looking for my application. The...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I agree with these guys -- They have had my application (according to Fedex) since Sept 30th and I haven't even received AOR (while there are people who sent application later and already took the Test!). I will admit that I am already planning on preparing another application but given that...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

Congrats everyone with ongoing applications and thanks for the reply! If it took that long for Single applications to be processed I'm expecting mine will take even longer -- I applied with my wife (so technically family) so I'd expect it to take longer than single applications (just don't know...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

Congrats HOP and everyone who received AOR! Hop, Paco, ualiu and others from September who received AOR in January - can you reply saying if your application was single or family ? I wonder if all those who got AOR so late were all "Family" type applications.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

The form wasn't "old" when I sent it - that's for sure, but it did ask for work records, so that's why I provided them.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I suggest you to prepare the application with a date "in the near future" when you intend to send your application. You can sign it on that date and send the application a few days later without a problem, but I would advise against sending it before the date in the application. The application...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I sent work records (NOAs, Employment letter, etc), but I haven't even received AOR yet since my application was received in Sept 30th.

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

So I'm trying to make sense of this.. the form I submitted in Sept 2014 was labeled as: "CIT 0002 (05-2014) E". TODAY (1/14/2015) I went to the cic website and downloaded the form again and it has the exact same label. Now to the confusing part... the one I submitted says this on Question 6F...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

The full copies of passport I included at suggestion of the paralegal who helped me fill out the application (I wanted to avoid it being returned because of silly mistakes so I paid someone to review it). The NOAs and Employment letter aren't really "extra" since they ask for "Employment...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I included full copies of passports (Black and white), NOAs and an employment letter ... I have a lot of entry/exits without stamps because I use my Nexus Card to cross the border (I also included a copy of the card so they can search its entry/exit records). I do have a number of boarding...
